Please could you help me? My sister has just finished "A Penny a Day" and wondered if there is a sequel to this book? Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks

Hi
Yes there is a sequel to A Penny A Day its called A Farthing Will Do and follows the story of Sammy and the characters from April Grove in Bridge End. Its been a years since I read this saga but found them to be some of the best reads ever.

These stories fascinate me as I recognise many of the Southampton locations in them. I would love to know which village near Southampton Bridge End is based on.
The most relevant location is Cobden Bridge where a tragedy takes place. We drive over it every week!
